Where are you located?

I work out of Salon Zhenya in West Asheville, North Carolina. Salon services are performed in-studio, and bridal hairstyling is provided on-site at your wedding venue.

Do you offer hair extensions?

Accepted Answer

For bridal hair, I offer clip-in extension installation. Extensions are purchased and provided by the bride and installed and styled by me. To ensure the best blend and hold, extensions should be pre-washed at least three times to remove factory chemicals, then blow-dried product-free (a lightweight blow-dry cream is fine) before your appointment. During your preview appointment, I can help you determine the right length, volume, and prep needed for your desired look.

Will you travel to my wedding venue?

Yes, I am an on-location wedding hair stylist serving Asheville, Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Brevard, Weaverville, and surrounding areas throughout Western North Carolina. A travel fee applies based on your venue's distance and is folded into your custom proposal.

Everything from elegant updos and modern waves to soft, natural finishes and boho-inspired looks. At your preview appointment we'll try options together and choose the style that best fits your dress, your venue, and your vision.

Do you do bridal hair for outdoor and mountain weddings?

Yes, outdoor and mountain weddings are a big part of my bridal work across the Blue Ridge. I'm very experienced in building styles to hold up through wind, humidity, and a long day outside, so your look lasts from the first look through the reception.

How do I hold my wedding date?

After you submit a date inquiry, I will confirm my availability and share a custom proposal. Your date is officially reserved once you've signed the agreement and your deposit is received.

How far in advance should I book wedding hair in Asheville?

Accepted Answer

I book a limited number of weddings each season so it's recommended to book as soon as possible. Most brides book six to twelve months in advance, especially for spring and fall weddings. Preview appointments are typically scheduled four to eight weeks before the wedding.

Do you provide makeup services?

I specialize exclusively in hair services. If you're looking for makeup services as well, I'm happy to recommend trusted makeup artists.

Do I really need a wedding hair trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The trial appointment allows us to test your look, make adjustments, and finalize your wedding-day style before the big day. That's why I include a bridal preview appointment for every bride.

What is a New Client Color Experience?

If you're booking color with me for the first time, you'll begin with a New Client Color Experience. This allows time to review your hair history, assess its condition, discuss your goals, and create a customized color plan before any color service begins.

What's your cancellation policy for salon appointments?

Accepted Answer

A 48-hour notice is required for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel within 24 hours or are a no-show, 100% charge for your services must be settled before rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable.
